Amazing early brass trench art book shaped lighter in great working condition. Excellent patina. This is a hand-made piece made during WWI, likely by a Russian solder as it features a Russian Orthodox cross on the front. Stunning work. Nice detail throughout with copper or brass embellisments. Lighter sparks great. Fluid is inserted either through the opening where the flint wheel is inserted.
This vintage lighter was reconditioned with any needed replacement parts. Perfect working order. Wonderful vintage condition. Approximately 2" x 1 1/2".
