Collection: Vintage Lift Arm Lighters

Lift-arm lighters are among the earliest mechanically distinctive pocket lighters ever produced — a hinged arm simultaneously exposes the wick and strikes the flint in a single motion. The earliest Evans lift-arm lighters were patented in 1927, with similar mechanisms used by a range of American manufacturers through the 1930s and 1940s. Block lighters and other variants are included here - as long as you have to lift the arm to operate.
