Stunning working Ronson World War 2 wartime whirlwind lighter made in the 1940s with an Eastern-themed silver wrap marked "Capt Moore" on the side. Beautiful model with an internal windward that can be raised in windy conditions to aid in lighting. Perfect working order. Made in the USA. The wrapping is slightly loose around the lighter, but will not come off. We can't verify that it was his, but Capt Moore could be the famous British WWII veteran fundraiser who spent time in the Burmese campaign during the Great War.
This vintage lighter has been reconditioned with any needed replacement parts. New flint and wick. Approximately 2 1/8" inches tall x 1 3/4" inches wide. As per shipping regulations, the lighter will be shipped without fluid. Just add Zippo or Ronsonol lighter fluid to operate.
