Antique Pocket Watch Style 1930s Thorens Lighter

Extremely rare working antique pocket watch style automatic lighter from the Thorens Company out of Switzerland. Made in 1930's, the lighter features a pocket chain with the amazing art deco etched designs on both sides. Made to look like the popular pocket watches of the day. Great patina and condition. The lighter works in a semi-automatic fashion by pressing the button at the front. Lid flips open and the wick is simultaneously ignited. Strong action. Extremely rare version with the fuel cap on the bottom rather than near the hinge

This vintage lighter was disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt with a new flint/packing, and any needed replacement parts. Perfect working order. Wonderful vintage condition. 2 inches in diameter.
