Vintage ashtray from the iconic Stork Club in New York City with an original complete matchbook. The Stork Club was a famous haunt for the New York and Hollywood elite, open from 1928 to 1961. The club began as a speakeasy during the prohibition period and transitioned to its location on East 51st St.
This is my favorite version with a slot for the matchbook on top.
The ashtray is made of ceramic. Absolutely amazing condition for its age. A great piece of New York City history. The matchbook is a standard sizes, nice accompaniment to the tray.
