Extremely rare 1939 Zippo flat-bottom, slash corner lighter in working condition with its correct 14-hole unmarked insert. Absolutely amazing patina. Looks very cool. Strong cam, and the lighter closes properly. The original hinge looks to have been repaired with a three-barrel hinge sometime in the 1940s.
Reconditioned to perfect working order. Lighter measures approximately 2 1/8" x 1 1/2". This vintage lighter was disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt with a new flint/packing, and any needed replacement parts. Perfect working order. Wonderful vintage condition.
As per shipping regulations, the lighter will be shipped without fluid. Just fill with Zippo or Ronsonol lighter fluid to operate.
