Collection: Vintage Japanese / MIOJ Lighters
Following Japan's defeat in World War II, goods exported to the US during the Allied occupation from 1945 to 1952 were required to be marked "Made in Occupied Japan" — and the lighters from this period are among the most collectible of any era. Post-occupation manufacturers including Prince, Maruman, Sarome, and Crown continued that tradition of precision craftsmanship and have strong collector followings of their own.
