This has the rare u-shaped soldered in cam stop that was only used between 1937-1938. This one has a three-barrel hinge, which points to it being repaired sometime between 1943-49. Repairs were more common during the wartime years as lighters weren't available for sale to the general public. Insert has had the cam and flint wheel replaced, likely at the same time. Absolutely amazing patina. Looks very cool. Strong cam, and the lighter closes properly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eReconditioned to perfect working order. Lighter measures approximately 2 1\/8\" x 1 1\/2\". This vintage lighter was disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt with a new flint\/packing, and any needed replacement parts. Perfect working order.
